Terms of Service
Effective Date: February 3, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to Void API ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website (void-api.com) and our API gateway services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Void API provides a middleware API gateway that routes computational inference requests to various third-party large language model (LLM) providers.
- Nature of Service: We act as an aggregator and router. We provide a unified interface, caching layer, and billing management system.
- No Affiliation: Void API is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any other upstream provider. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
3. Account Registration & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys.
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that share API keys publicly or engage in "key cycling" abuse.
4. Usage & Fair Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service for:
- Illegal activities, including the generation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, or promotion of violence.
- Cyberattacks, spam generation, or interference with the proper functioning of the Service.
- Abuse of Resources: While we offer "unlimited" or high-volume tiers, we reserve the right to throttle (slow down) or temporarily suspend accounts that exhibit anomalous traffic patterns (e.g., botnet-like scraping) that degrade performance for other users.
5. Payments, Refunds, and Delivery
- Digital Goods: Access to the API is considered a "Digital Good." Delivery is confirmed immediately upon the issuance of a valid API Key.
- No Refunds: Due to the nature of digital goods and cryptocurrency transactions, all sales are final.
- Exception: If the Service is completely unavailable for a period exceeding 72 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated refund or service credit. Refunds are granted at our sole discretion.
- Chargebacks: Any initiation of a chargeback or payment dispute will result in the immediate and permanent ban of your account and blacklisting of your identity across our network.
6. Service Availability & "Beta" Status
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
- Upstream Dependency: We rely on third-party upstream providers for inference. We are not responsible for downtime, rate limits, or censorship imposed by these third parties (e.g., Google or OpenAI outages).
- Maintenance: We reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or updates without prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Void API shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 30 days.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
